The Civil Law ACT does not require items of a cosmetic or minor maintenance matters to be included in the report as it is predominantly a visual inspection report. Therefore ACTPRO may not mention these issues.

ACTPRO can only comment on areas that are fully accessible and visible, and cannot be held responsible for defects in these areas. ACTPRO Inspectors will not move, dismantle or remove any materials or furniture during an inspection.

ACTPRO are not required to inspect electrical appliances, air conditioners, smoke detectors, gas fittings or swimming pools, although at times may comment on the above.

ACTPRO Pest Inspections does not cover insects, rodents etc. It only relates to the findings/or non findings of termites or damage from termites, borers of seasoned timber and wood decay fungi present at the time of the Inspection.

The Energy Efficiency Rating (EER) measurements and Insulation Value are taken at the time of inspection and all relevant information is entered into our programme and calculated by a Star Rating of up to Six Stars.

Payment is to be made prior to the release of the Reports, unless arranged otherwise with our Office. Direct Deposits, Cheques, Credit Cards are welcome.

Electronic copies are available on request.

A cancellation fee of $150.00 will apply if plans have already been ordered from ACTPLA and/or if the inspection is cancelled on the same day of inspection.
